Schott and Associates was founded in 1994 as an independent consulting company dedicated to providing professional natural resource services to business and government agencies. Founder, Martin Schott, PhD., has 19 years of professional experience, ten of which has been providing consulting services. He is a plant ecologist, botanist, wetland specialist, and range scientist.

Schott and Associates have worked on a wide range of projects including: electrical transmission lines, electrical co-generation plants, natural gas pipelines, hydroelectric dams, water storage reservoirs, destination resorts, housing developments, industrial parks and developments, shopping centers, sewer lines, highways, wetland inventories, endangered species surveys, environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, and biological assessments.
