Northwest
Environmental & Energy Professionals (NEEP) is a
business alliance of highly skilled and experienced specialists. The State of Oregon officially supports NEEP
as a “Flexible Network” created for the purpose of being more effective in
solving problems, cutting costs, and responding quickly and economically to our
clients’ environmental and energy management needs. We offer our clients the range and quality of services provided
by larger firms but at a more competitive cost.
Today, sound environmental and energy management is more
than just facilitating regulatory compliance.
It is also recognizing the economic and environmental benefits to be
achieved from good management practices.
In collaboration with our clients, we focus on the issues from their
perspective as we work to solve existing problems, or develop programs to help
environmental managers take control of their responsibilities and administer
them in a systematic and pro-active manner.
Our turn-key capabilities and full range of environmental disciplines
focus on two important areas:
Environmental
Management Systems (EMS)
NEEP will develop and assist with the implementation of an
EMS for your business. An EMS is
essential to any environmental certification program, such as ISO 14000. The components of an EMS include:
Gap Audit--EMS implementation starts with
an evaluation of your company’s existing organizational structure, policies,
environmental systems, and procedures relative to the ISO 14001 audit
specifications. We can prepare a report
indicating both the degree to which your company’s EMS meets these standards and
recommendations for corrective actions.
EMS Preparation--After completing the gap audit we can help you develop an EMS that meets all applicable ISO 14000 Standards.
